Angeline Guo

I turn complex, real-world problems into reliable and efficient AI-native products. After 10+ years leading data science at Meta and DoorDash and founding a government-partnered B2B AI startup, I return to building my own, this time doing the initial design and engineering myself.

Core Principles

Curiosity as Engine
I dive into complex data ecosystems and emerging technologies because the puzzle itself is the reward.
Organic Connection
Wherever I land, I build community. Not as a networking strategy, but because it's a natural response to a new environment.
Ship to Learn
Move fast from idea to prototype to live production.
Paddle to Water
An AI-native B2C app and website that alerts water sport users in the Bay Area to weather and water conditions. Built and acquired thousands of users in a month.
PRD to Readout
Turns a product spec into a gated analytics pipeline, ending in a SHIP/KILL/ITERATE readout with real stats behind the call.
Spend Tracking App
Connects to your bank via Plaid and sends an AI nudge when spending goes off track. Built it because spreadsheets require too much good faith.
RevMem (collab)
A governance layer that lets finance AI agents earn trust over time. It reconciles contract pricing against CRM data, learns from human feedback across sessions, and gains autonomy as its track record improves.
The Data Engine
Data Science Leadership & Analytics
I translate complex data environments into clear, actionable strategy: NLP innovation for global operational risk at American Express, privacy-first data initiatives at Meta, and 0-to-1 B2B product to help small businesses grow at DoorDash.
The Founder's Fire
Generative AI & Venture Execution
As the founder and CEO of Zeni Arts, I raised funds and led a cross-functional team to build and launch a RAG and LLM GenAI application. Designed to combat loneliness in socially isolated older adults using virtual companionship and CBT frameworks, the project partnered directly with Canadian businesses and government entities.
The Community Architect
Human Infrastructure
People are the core of any ecosystem. During COVID, I founded a Chinese tech worker community in Vancouver and grew it organically past 500 members. Weekly events turned it into a self-sustaining network where lasting relationships were built.
Pioneer in Stand-Up Paddleboard sport as certified coach and community influencer. On the water I read the wind and tide, find inspiration and thrill. Some days I ride the wave, other days I fight it.

Building in public in SF. Open to collaborations, advisory, and connecting with fellow builders.
